Morphine's silver shaded oculars peered shakily from the toes of her brother's large leather boots; passed the black dress pants and white shirt held at the collar with a red tie; and up into his face. Empty eyes, creased feat

The rain fell harder than that outside of the patio windows. Like tiny shards of glass thundering from the sky in a blur of cloud and storm. She felt the need to marvel at the swiftly growing puddles out on the smooth pale stone of the ground.
She clutched the picture close to her chest. Short blonde hair and green-blue eyes that she likes to stare at; even if they were only staring at a camera and not at her. Bare soles rubbed against the cream carpet, the rough texture causing her toes to curl slightly, though somewhat subconsciously.
Thin lids glittered with pink began to shut, lead by long dark lashes,
